On 13–14 October 2026, the GreenFit consortium gathered in Arilje, Serbia, for its 3rd Plenary Meeting, organised by our Serbian partner, Arilje Raspberry (ARA). Bringing together partners from across Europe, the two-day gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on the project’s achievements, exchange expertise and coordinate the next steps towards bringing GreenFit’s innovative digital solutions into real agricultural environments.
With a strong emphasis on practical learning and collaboration, the meeting featured interactive training sessions, discussions on project implementation and a field visit offering valuable insights into the region’s agricultural landscape.
Day 1: Strengthening Collaboration and Bringing Digital Tools Closer to Farmers
The first day kicked off with an overview of GreenFit’s progress, highlighting key achievements, ongoing activities and upcoming priorities across the project.
A key highlight was the interactive “Speed Training – Pilots Meet the Tech” session, bringing together pilot partners and technology providers to explore GreenFit’s digital solutions, exchange practical insights and address questions related to their application in real farming environments.

The discussions continued with hands-on Train-the-Trainers activities, focusing on how to effectively introduce GreenFit’s tools to farmers and local communities. Partners discussed approaches for communicating the benefits of the solutions and worked together to develop and practice short, accessible presentations tailored to different pilot contexts. The day also included an update on the development of the GreenFit Observatory, providing an opportunity to review progress and discuss the next steps for its further development.
These collaborative activities helped strengthen the connection between technological development, pilot implementation and farmer engagement, supporting the project’s efforts to make innovative solutions more accessible and relevant to end users.

Day 2: Preparing for Real-World Testing and Exploring Local Agriculture

The second day focused on strengthening GreenFit’s impact and preparing for the next stages of implementation.
The morning began with a dedicated session on Dissemination and Value Chains, during which partners reviewed ongoing dissemination activities and explored opportunities to further increase the project’s visibility and impact. The session also featured updates on the European Network of Knowledge and a hands-on workshop focusing on agricultural value chains, encouraging partners to exchange insights and explore opportunities to strengthen their development and sustainability.
