GreenFit Digital Solutions

Enabling Smarter, Greener, and Resilient Farming

At GreenFit, we’re developing powerful digital tools to help farmers build more sustainable and profitable businesses.

data-driven decisions

Our solutions provide localized, context-aware insights, from optimizing water and fertilizer use to managing pests and crops, empowering farmers to make data-driven decisions that reduce costs and increase productivity.

Scalable and effective solutions

During the pilot phase, multiple tools will be deployed concurrently in selected regions. This allows us to evaluate how the tools interact and optimize their integration. We will also assess usability in real-world conditions and measure their combined impact. These steps ensure the solutions are both scalable and effective before a wider rollout.

GreenFit FMIS

GreenFit FMIS is a smart farming toolkit designed to support climate adaptation and sustainable agriculture. It offers several services to assist farmers in their everyday operations, supporting both tactical and operational decision-making. By combining advanced geospatial technologies, crop growth and pest prediction models, and data from Drone-in-a-Box, the system enables informed, climate-aware farming decisions.

The system enables proactive plant protection, precision fertilization, and efficient resource management by analyzing satellite and field data to identify crop variability and guide targeted interventions. Integrated tools like AgriChatbot and XR-AgriTrain provide hands-on learning to help farmers adopt these advanced technologies.

GreenFit FMIS features a sustainability monitoring and traceability system that tracks key indicators, helping farmers align with long-term sustainability goals. Each registered parcel is assigned a QR code, allowing consumers to follow products from farm to shelf and access sustainability information through a simple mobile interface.

Environmental Sustainability Indicators

Intensive agriculture practices can consume natural resources, degrade soil, and reduce biodiversity. GreenFit addresses this by integrating data monitoring and traceability systems to promote sustainable practices. The system collects data on soil moisture, irrigation, fertilization, pesticide use, energy consumption, and GHG emissions to calculate key sustainability indicators.

By benchmarking best practices, GreenFit enables performance assessment against actual farming practices. Using crop calendars to track timings and quantities, it optimizes irrigation, soil treatment, and plant protection. Metrics such as soil health, water-use efficiency, agrochemical efficiency, nitrogen use, and emissions provide actionable insights to enhance sustainability, water resilience, biodiversity conservation, and pollution reduction.

Drone-in-a-Box

The Drone-in-a-Box system brings advanced automation to precision agriculture. Housed in a self-contained unit, the drone operates fully autonomously, managing its entire flight cycle from takeoff to landing. It performs regular aerial inspections to gather key data on crop health, soil conditions, and moisture levels. Once the flight is complete, it returns to the box for recharging and data processing. By providing frequent and reliable field insights, the system helps farmers make faster, informed decisions that improve resource use, increase yields, and reduce environmental impact. This technology is a key step toward more efficient and sustainable farming practices.

AgriChatbot – AI-Powered – Interoperable Agricultural Chatbot

GreenFit AgriChatbot, built on LLMs, delivers real-time, expert-level agricultural advice tailored to farmers’ needs. Designed to operate offline on smartphones or edge devices, it is ideal for remote areas with low connectivity. By integrating with Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS), the chatbot can deliver highly accurate, real-time, localized insights on weather, soil health, and crop conditions. Leveraging field sensors and predictive models, it provides data-driven recommendations to improve farm management and support informed decision-making.

Additionally, it enhanced with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), can provide personalized guidance based on farmers’ inputs. For example, it can suggest optimal planting dates or pest mitigation strategies using current local data. The chatbot supports XR environments (compatible with XR-AgriTrain) and speech-to-text tools, enabling an immersive and interactive experience for users.

XR-AgriTrain – XR Training Solution for Farmers

XR-AgriTrain is designed to help farmers build the digital skills needed to use modern agricultural technologies. The solution combines Augmented Reality (AR), Extended Reality (XR), and Virtual Reality (VR) to provide practical, hands-on training both in the field and remotely. Using AR glasses and VR headsets, farmers can access interactive learning experiences, from guided instructions and 3D demonstrations to immersive training scenarios that simulate real farming tasks. These tools make it easier to learn how to operate new technologies, improve daily practices, and strengthen technical literacy.

The platform offers a blend of online materials, live sessions, workshops, and on-farm demonstrations. It also tracks user engagement and learning progress (anonymously) to continuously improve the training content and ensure it remains relevant and effective. XR-AgriTrain aims to make advanced training accessible, engaging, and directly connected to real-world farming needs.
